This long-distance journey is a true expedition through the deepest, wildest, and most awe-inspiring Patagonia. We depart from Los Antiguos and travel one of the most spectacular stretches of Provincial Scenic Route No. 41, crossing landscapes that feel otherworldly: open steppes, red-hued mountains, lenga and ñire forests, volcanic formations, and hidden lakes.

In the first few days, we reach the mountain pass at 1,500 meters above sea level, with breathtaking views of Mount Zeballos, then descend toward Paso Roballos, riding along the edge of the Andes. We venture into little-explored valleys, pass near Lake Ghio and Lake Columna, among salt flats, lagoons, and colorful hills, where condors, upland geese, flamingos, and other local wildlife are commonly spotted. 

Starting on day seven, those who choose the extended version can continue on to Cerro San Lorenzo, the highest peak in the province of Santa Cruz. Following the glacier-fed Oro River, we ride through valleys and forests until reaching the lookout point for the mountain. From there, an optional 7-hour trek takes you to a truly unique natural phenomenon: 30°C hot springs bubbling next to a freezing cold stream flowing directly from the glacier.
