Horseback Riding in the Wild Patagonia

Los Antiguos, Santa Cruz. Argentina

Ours,
the wild,
the simple.

We don’t just offer horseback rides — we share a way of life.

In this remote corner of Patagonia, days are measured by the path of the sun, the rhythm of the horses, and the hush of the wind through the poplars.

We invite you to cross endless steppes, ride through forests and rivers, sleep beneath a sky that feels imagined… and discover something deeper: the joy of simplicity, authenticity, and wildness. Our journeys are for those who seek more than a postcard — for those who want to feel, to connect, and to remember.

Our experiences

Lago Buenos Aires

2 hours – Patagonia National Park
A short and peaceful ride through valleys, wetlands, and along the shore of the largest lake in Patagonia. Perfect for families and first-time riders. It ends with traditional mate and homemade alfajores.

Cerro La Calle

5 hours – Patagonia National Park
We ride through the steppe, past wild fauna and towering rock walls, all the way to a stunning viewpoint. Includes a packed lunch, a short hike, and moments of pure awe.

Scenic Route 41

2-3 days
From Los Antiguos to Estancia Los Corrales, camping by the Jeinimeni River and riding along old wagon trails. Unique views and authentic experiences among mountains and canyons.

To Cerro San Lorenzo

7-10 days | from Los Antiguos to Lago Posadas
The ultimate adventure. We cross volcanoes, forests, and lunar landscapes, following Route 41 to reach breathtaking viewpoints, hidden lakes, and natural hot springs. Deep Patagonia, like you’ve never experienced before.

The base: Patagonia National Park, Santa Cruz.

Our base is in the northwest of Santa Cruz, Argentine Patagonia. Just a few kilometers from the town of Los Antiguos, and only an hour from Perito Moreno airport (Heads up! This is not where the glacier is), lies a land of steppe, canyons, and wetlands where silence is part of the scenery.

Our horseback journeys start from the historic former La Ascensión Ranch, a pioneer in these lands and now part of the La Ascensión Wild Nature Reserve within Patagonia National Park. Here, a unique ecosystem is protected — home to the macá tobiano, an endemic bird and a symbol of this wild and resilient region.

It’s a remote corner, but accessible. And once you arrive, it’s hard to leave.

Led by those who call these lands home

pabloysanti

We are Pablo and Santiago. This land is part of who we are. Born and raised among horses, wetlands, and trails, we’ve known Patagonia from horseback since we were kids.

Every journey we share with our guests is like the ones we used to have with friends or neighbors: showing what we love, listening to stories, and quietly crossing the landscapes that raised us.

We like to think we don’t just lead rides — we create encounters. With nature, with the simplicity of the countryside, with life in its purest form.
